This is why I really loved Cliff Chiang’s run on Green Arrow/Black Canary. Few artists are able to simultaneously show her combination of glamour, ferocity as a warrior, tenacity, and that when it comes down to it, she’s the ridiculously gorgeous girl on the team you can talk to the way you would with a fellow male (if you are a male) or like a sister (if female). Chiang captured it in a simple, yet effective, manner.

Babs didn’t particularly appreciate Bruce’s attempt to spy on her for her wellbeing. Unfortunately for Bats, she knew what he was up to. Skipped the parts where she’s reprimanding him in order to focus on the expressions on his face when she confronts him.

Black Canary kisses Batman in gratitude for his giving the Huntress a fair chance. It’s hard to say who was more stunned, Batman or Dinah’s fellow Birds of Prey.

This looks perfect. I’m not entirely the greatest fan of the Selina-Bruce relationship being permanent, but of all his great loves, she’s the only one I can picture in this Batfamily. They look so happy :)
